Vance

Republican Déjà Vu by Laurence M. Vance

So, the Republicans regained control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections and gained six seats in the Senate. If you remember, or care, Republicans lost control of both the House and Senate for the last two years of George W. Bush’s disastrous presidency and suffered even more defeats in the 2008 election. The Republican margin of victory in the House in this election was the largest shift in power since the Democrats won a 91-seat majority 1948.

Pardon me while I yawn.

I remember all too well in 1994 when the Republicans regained control of not only the House, but the Senate as well. I remember sitting in my car and anxiously listening to Rush Limbaugh’s first radio show after the election. I remember speaking with my Republican congressman at the time on a local call-in radio talk show. I asked him when the new Republican-controlled Congress would begin repealing some of the legislation passed during the first two years of Clinton’s reign. The congressman told me he would have to stand in line to introduce such legislation because of everything the Republicans had planned.

Republicans managed to stay in power throughout the rest of Clinton’s presidency. But what did we get for it? Did Republicans repeal the Family and Medical Leave Act? Did they eliminate foreign aid? Did they repeal the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act? Did they lower overall federal spending? Did they repeal the Motor Voter Act? Did they eliminate any substantial business regulations? Did they repeal the Violence Against Women Act? Did they cut Social Security and Medicare? Did they repeal the Earned Income Credit? Did they eliminate any federal agencies or programs? Did they repeal any significant pieces of legislation passed during any previous administration? Did they shrink the U.S. empire?

Oh, Republicans made promises. They issued the "Contract with America." They talked about reducing government. They preached the gospel of free markets. They used libertarian rhetoric. But then they did nothing to meaningfully reduce the size and scope of government.

Fast forward to 2010. Republicans have made their promises. They have issued their "Pledge to America." They have talked about reducing government. They have preached the gospel of free markets. They have used libertarian rhetoric. And once again they will do nothing to meaningfully reduce the size and scope of government.

Oh, but Republicans are going to repeal Obamacare. Yea, and replace it with Republicancare. If Republicans are so concerned about socialized medicine and government takeovers of health care, then why haven’t they tried to repeal Medicare? Is it not socialized medicine? Is it not a government takeover of health care? But not only do Republicans accept the legitimacy of Medicare, they added to it a prescription drug plan. And now they propose in their Pledge to "support Medicare for seniors," even criticizing Obamacare for cutting Medicare.

I am suffering from Republican Déjà Vu. When I look at Republicans in 2010 – the year they issued their "Pledge to America" and won big in a midterm election – I hear them uttering the same lies about fiscal responsibility and a smaller, less intrusive government that they did in 1994 – the year they issued their "Contract with America" and won big in a midterm election. When I write about Republicans I feel as though I could just take something I wrote fifteen years ago and change the date and some names and it would sound like I wrote it yesterday.

While doing some remodeling recently, I discovered in my files some long-forgotten letters to the editor about the Republicans I had written in 1994 and 1995 that were published in the conservative weekly Human Events.

I am reproducing them here exactly as they appeared. I have given the dates of publication in parentheses. The titles and material in brackets were supplied by Human Events.

King Commission Funding Proves Phillips Correct (July 1994)

I was outraged to read in your June 3 issue (see "Senate Votes Millions for King Commission," page 4) about the support of Bob Dole and Jack Kemp for the funding of the Martin Luther King Holiday Commission. The apostate Republicans who were afraid to stand up to the NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus for fear of being called racist should join the Democratic Party where they belong.

After almost unanimously confirming all of Clinton’s radical appointments, including Janet Reno, I didn’t think the Republicans could do any worse until reading about the King holiday commission.

It is also interesting that in the same issue, Howard Phillips, chairman of the Conservative Caucus, exposed the GOP for being full of "Big Government" conservatives (see page 12). Although certainly better than Slick Willie, a vote for Republicans like Dole and Kemp is a vote for four more years of George Bush.

What’s Conservative About Foreign Aid? (November 1994)

Although I was not surprised, I was nevertheless still appalled at the passage of the Foreign Aid Appropriations bill (HR 4426). But I was even more incensed to see in your August 19 issue [see HUMAN EVENTS rollcall, page 23] that Republicans like Representatives Bob Dornan (Calif.), Newt Gingrich (Ga.), Bill McCollum (Fla.) and other conservatives would vote to spend the taxpayers’ money in such a reckless manner. Let any basket-case foreign country send out an appeal for funds to the American people and they wouldn’t receive enough money to pay for the postage. Leave it to the U.S. Congress, however, to dole out the hard-earned money confiscated from the American people.

If any member of Congress or any U.S. citizen desire to enrich another country instead of investing in his own, let him be the first to write out a personal check. Foreign aid is the most obscene waste of the taxpayers’ money in history. The Republican "Contract with America" should include a provision to immediately eliminate all foreign aid. Anything less is just business as usual for what [nationally syndicated columnist] Samuel Francis calls the Stupid Party.

Why is GOP Leaving Liberal Statism Intact? (April 1995)

The Republicans are celebrating their first 100 days in power. But what have they actually done? Trumpeting how their block grants to the states will result in more dollars for school lunch programs instead of abolishing the program altogether is a typical example.

Where are the bills on Clinton’s desk to repeal the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Clean Air Act of 1990, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, and the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993? Why isn’t there legislation piled to the ceiling on Clinton’s desk to repeal CAFE standards, the freon ban, the Brady Bill, and all other statist legislation?

Every bill that Clinton vetoes will be another nail in his coffin at election time, if the Democrats don’t drop him first. And furthermore, if House Speaker Newt Gingrich desires to be a conservative leader, then perhaps he should publicly repent for voting for the Americans with Disabilities Act, congressional pay raises and bouncing checks at the House bank.

What Republican Revolution? (October 1995)

Donald Lambro’s article about the Republican budget that appeared in the August 25 issue of HUMAN EVENTS inadvertently exposes the failure of the Republican revolution. According to Lambro, "government spending is still going to grow in the years to come, up to nearly $2 trillion by the beginning of the next century." Instead of eliminating failed liberal programs like Medicaid, Medicare and welfare, the Republicans want to increase spending on Medicaid by $329 billion, Medicare by $675 billion and welfare by $346 billion. The Republicans are actually bragging about how they plan to increase the transfer of even more taxpayer dollars to those on the federal dole. In the same issue of HUMAN EVENTS, it was also reported that the House rejected cuts in the NEA and CPB. In addition to this, our troops are still overseas, foreign aid is still on the rise and the power of the FBI, BATF, OSHA, EPA, and FEMA is still increasing. The Republican revolution will do down in history as the revolution that wasn’t.

Two things should be abundantly clear: Republicans haven’t changed and my basic criticisms of Republicans haven’t changed. Yet, in the recent election, millions of conservatives went to the polls hoping, and millions of Christians went to the polls praying, that perhaps this time the Republicans would not betray and disappoint them. John assured me that he would be available any time to address the issues for which we advocate.

I am a little disheartened that we did not achieve our goal of obtaining at least 20% of the vote. This would have allowed us to run again without having to meet the difficult ballot access requirements.

Other third parties failed because they gave up too easily. We have a plan for success and this race is just the beginning. The reason we lost is primarily due to lack of name recognition and knowledge of our Party. People were just too afraid to move out of their comfort zone and vote for a third party candidate. The candidate forums that I attended were very successful and our message was well delivered and received.

As we move forward our focus is going to be directed in forming a voter base in Tuscaloosa. Achieving this will require an education and awareness campaign. I am extremely excited about this endeavor.

Our biggest challenge is a lack financial resources. John Merrill had raised over $196,000. We raised a mere $600. Our cost per vote was approximately $2.80; whereas, John's cost per vote was approximately $16.80. We could have ran a more effective grass roots campaign with just $5,000 and a 10 member campaign committee. Overcoming this challenge will be achieved by building our party at the county level and creating a solid voter base.

This election cycle was an anti-Obama campaign. Many Independents thought that by voting all Republicans, our problems will be solved. Unfortunately, voters have a severe short term memory. We see this time and time again. Nearly every election cycle we vote back and forth between the two parties while expecting different results. Einstein defined this behavior as insanity!

Slowly people are waking up and our party will continue to grow. I encourage all of you to get involved with the Constitution Party of Alabama. The knowledge and experienced gained will enrich your life and allow you to more effectively participate in the art of self-governance.

Pleas join us Today! My Republican opponent John Merrill, Republican Greg Reed for Senate Dist 5, Democrat Phil Poole for Senate District 21, Republican Bill Poole for House 63 and Democrat Susan Hamill House District 63 all vowed to support the rewrite. Additionally, both gubernatorial candidates have pledged support for the rewrite in one form or another.

The lone person who vowed to oppose the rewrite; of course, was yours truly. So, why am I standing alone against the rewrite of the Alabama Constitution and why should you stand with me?

The answer is contained within their own propaganda booklet entitled "The Alabama Tax and Budget Handbook", which was sent to every single candidate in this State. The candidate whom you "support" has received this and knows the true agenda.

Page 37 boldly states: "Alabama's constitution makes it hard to raise property taxes at the local level,"

Page 39 advises our elected officials:"to increase property tax rates. Raise the minimum local millage for schools to 20 mills (currently 1 mill); and tax utility property as business property.

This equates to a 400% increase in property taxes in addition to the increase price on utilities that you will pay because of the tax on utility property

Additionally, they are persuading candidates and our elected representatives to support a progressive tax system. On page 22 of the propaganda handbook they depict a table showing Alabama as the "least progressive" state with regards to taxation.

The most progressive state listed is California followed by Washington DC.
Now, do you really want to model our State after California and DC!?

We have seen how progressive taxes have driven California into bankruptcy.

The last thing these groups want is for Alabama to become fiscally independent. They openly advocate that we must spend more in order to receive more federal funding. This circular path of reason will also cause an increase in our federal taxes. Where do they think the federal funding comes from?

YOU MUST ACT NOW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!

The groups promoting these agendas are: ARISE, Citizen's Policy Project, VOICES for Alabama's Children, Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform (ACCR), Southern Poverty Law Center, Greater Birmingham Ministries.

Many of the leaders of these groups are rich. The President of the Southern Poverty Law Center generally pays himself over $300,000/ year to advocate for the poor. This is laughable and sick. They want to take your money and distribute it as they wish while maintaining their own wealth.

These groups are well funded and sending millions into your candidates campaign accounts to promote their agenda. The Greater Birmingham Ministries alone has received over $1.5 million from out of state sources to lobby for the rewrite of your Constitution!

Check this website to learn more and to follow the money trail: www.keepourrights.org

Proponents for the rewrite market their approach by saying that the Alabama Constitution is too long and racist. What do either of these reasons have to do with taxes? That's right, nothing. Don't believe the propaganda. Racist language has already been removed and our State constitution is the longest in the world because our idiot leaders intentionally screwed it up.

Once they open the door to rewrite the Constitution it will be nearly impossible to stop all aspects of their agenda to steal from you, erase the middle class, take your right to property, and ultimately oppress the poor.

On November 2nd, vote for someone whom will fight for you!

Vote Steven Kneussle for House District 62

Abortion? The mission of my campaign is to educate the the public, abate misinformation and to provide the truth.

A misinformation campaign has been launched by the Democrats to influence public perception that the Conservatives are anti-minority and that the Constitution of our State and country is racist and was the cause of slavery. The purpose of this campaign is to secure minority votes and to gain support for a constitution rewrite in order to remove specific safeguards of our liberties. Bi-partisan policies such as Limited Home Rule, removal of family rights, and lack of credit protection has an especially harsh impact on minorities.

The Democrats have historically supported the oppression of African Americans and continue to do so today. Recently legislated entitlement programs serve only to prevent African Americans from rising to a higher economic social class.

"As white Democrats regained power in the state legislatures of the South after Reconstruction, they began to impose new laws that disfranchised blacks and to create labor and criminal laws limiting their freedom. Many African Americans, called Exodusters, moved to Kansas to form all-black towns where they could be free. Douglass spoke out against the movement, urging blacks to stick it out. He had become out of step with his audiences, who condemned and booed him for this position." -wikepedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Douglass

The true history of our country is that African Americans had an integral role in the founding of our nation. Our Constitution and its founding principles led to the abolition of slavery across the globe and was the instrument by which the civil rights movement was won. Several African American leaders such as Republican Fredrick Douglas held positions in government and helped to create our nation.

An example of the misinformation campaign is detailed in the post below. The initial post included a misguided quote by James Madison in support of the view that the Constitution and our nation's founders were racist. The initial post conveniently left out significant evidence to the contrary, which I gladly detailed in a reply. http://www.politicalparlor.net/wp/2010/07/02/constitution-party-enters-hd-62-race/comment-page-1/#comment-95883

     Steven

      July 6th, 2010 at 1:03 am

@Ivan Swift:

“Federalist Paper No. 54, written by either Madison or Hamilton (no more founding father than those two) says slaves are both “persons” and “property.” so does the party believe taking a person’s property away from him or her — the emancipation proclamation — violated the principles set forth by the founding fathers?”

With all due respect, the above statement is completely out of context. Madison stated that the current “law” views slaves as “persons” and “property”. FP 54 was an analysis of how Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution should be constructed as it pertained to the distribution of representatives in Congress. Lets see what else Madison said in Federalist Paper No. 54 for which Ivan haphazardly omitted:

“the slave is no less evidently regarded by the law as a member of the society; not as a part of the irrational creation; as a moral person, not as a mere article of property.”

“it is admitted that if the laws were to restore the rights which have been taken away, the negroes could no longer be refused an equal share of representation with the other inhabitants.”

“Might not some surprize also be expressed that those who reproach the southern States with the barbarous policy of considering as property a part of their human brethren, should themselves contend that the government to which all the States are to be parties, ought to consider this unfortunate race more compleatly in the unnatural light of property, than the very laws of which they complain!”

Madison also refers to the slaves as being “restrained in his liberty”, “chastised in his body, by the capricious will of another”

It can now be plainly seen that Madison referred to slaves as a moral people, our human brethren, had rights which had been taken away, and that slavery was unnatural and barbarous. Madison was advocating that slaves were no less equal than anyone else, and that in due time their rights would be restored and that they would have an equal share of representation.

Slavery was not conceived in America or by the Constitution. This unfortunate practice was initiated by African tribal leaders and based upon a tribal class system. Slavery was practiced in Africa before the beginning of the Atlantic slave trade. Slavery and the slave trade were an integral part of African societies and states which supplied the Arab world with enslaved people for centuries before the arrival of the Europeans.

It was the US Constitution and its founding principles of Liberty which led the world to abolish slavery. The United States outlawed the importation of slaves on January 1, 1808; a mere 9 years after the first Congress was seated. The State governments legislated laws pertaining to slavery within their borders until 1865 when the 13th Amendment to the Constitution specifically outlawed the practice of slavery in America.

Once the blacks were free they came under attack from a different front. A new theory called “evolution” was gaining ground after the publication of Charles Darwin’s “Origin of Species” which was published in 1859. This new theory considered Africans an inferior race and less “evolved” than their white counterparts. This provided argument for segregation and limiting the rights of black Americans. Scientists only recently (last decade) adopted the “Out of Africa” model which theorizes that all people originated in Africa and that all races evolved equally while migrating to different parts of the world.

During the civil rights movement of the 1960’s, black leaders including Dr. Martin Luther King argued that the Constitution provided that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. It was the Constitution and these founding principles which made the civil rights movement a success.

In conclusion: THE CONSTITUTION PARTY SUPPORTS THE CONSTITUTION AND THE FOUNDING PRINCIPLES, THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL REGARDLESS OF RACE AND THAT ALL MEN ARE ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR WITH CERTAIN UNALIENABLE RIGHTS.

God Bless!

Why I am Running for Office

by: Steven Kneussle

Simply, I am trying to bring public attention to important issues, mobilize the community to solve problems and to help one another.

I have nothing to gain and nothing to loose which allows me to truly represent the people of District 62.

If you disagree with my politics, I encourage you to set politics aside and start helping your fellow neighbor. Why its BAD!

by: Steven Kneussle

Learn more from the Tuscaloosa Co. Property Rights Alliance: www.tcpra.net

Limited Home Rule is State legislation granting county governments the authority to create ordinances which deprive citizens of their constitutional right to private property, right to trial, and right against unreasonable searches and seizures.

The Tuscaloosa County Commissioners and a few supporters for Limited Home Rule say that the law is needed to protect the value of property from messy neighbors and to clean up low income neighborhoods especially in Cottondale.

This argument is baseless!!! Alabama Code of Law 6-5-120 et seq. provides legal recourse for any citizen or government entity who suffers from any nuisance defined as: "...anything that works hurt, inconvenience or damage to another."

Ala. Code 6-5-124 states: "A private nuisance may injure either the person or property, or both, and in either case a right of action accrues."

Ala. Code 6-5-122 provides that: "All municipalities in the State of Alabama may commence an action in the name of the city to abate or enjoin any public nuisance injurious to the health, morals, comfort, or welfare of the community or any portion thereof."

The difference is that the above law keeps the case in a court of equity, where it belongs, and preserves your constitutional rights. Limited Home Rule makes the County Commissioners judge and jury over you in a forum where you have no constitutional rights and the levied fees and fines are paid to them. Talk about a conflict of interest.

Limited Home Rule specifically impacts and oppresses minority communities, the elderly, the disabled and the poor. Instead of fining these people we should be helping them! The story of an elderly and disabled couple from Marchall County: http://www.tcpra.net/jeantreschflyer.pdf

The Limited Self-Governance Act was introduced as AL. Senate Bill 129
http://www.tcpra.net/sb129%20limited%20home%20rule.pdf.
It passed both houses and became codified under Alabama Code of Law (1975) 11-3a-1 et seq. http://www.legislature.state.al.us/codeofalabama/1975/coatoc.htm

This was not an enforceable law. It was a permission slip from the State legislature to the county government to enact and enforce ordinances in a manner contrary to the limits and protections established by the US and Alabama State Constitution. The only way to enact the law was if the citizens of the individual county voted for it by referendum; thereby, voluntarily waiving their constitutional rights and protections.

It was placed on the Tuscaloosa County ballot in November 2006 during the general election and read as follows: “Shall the provisions of Act. No. 2005-200 which authorizes the county to abate certain health and safety nuisances be applicable in the unincorporated areas of Tuscaloosa County?”

Since there is no law in our State requiring that the full text of any referendum be visibly posted at the polling both, few had any idea what this referendum was about. It passed by 238 votes.

Currently there are three ordinances proposed by the Tuscaloosa County Commissioners (These are official drafts):
Junk Ordinance:
http://www.tcpra.net/junk%20ordinance-tusc.%20county%2001272010-pj%20only.pdf
Litter Ordinance:
http://www.tcpra.net/litter%20ordinance-tusc.%20county-01272010.pdf
Noise Ordinance:
http://www.tcpra.net/noise%20ordinance-tusc.%20county-%2001272010.pdf

Section 5 of the Junk Ordinance states: "It shall be unlawful... for a person in possession or control of any parcel of land... to fail to keep the parcel free from... junk, litter, rubbish, one or more inoperable motor vehicles or one or more motor vehicles which do not have a current license tag... inoperable or unused appliances, household furniture, used motor vehicle tires, any material with which water may accumulate or which may shelter or encourage the growth of insects, rodents, or snakes".

Remember, many of our county citizens live miles apart. We have farmers who have unregistered vehicles which they use on their private property to check their fences and livestock. We have people who like to work on their vehicles and some keep an extra vehicle on their property solely for spare parts.

Do you have a child's sandbox in your yard? Can this accumulate water and breed insects? What about that shed in your yard? Is that a material which may shelter rodents or snakes?

How about that old man on Bear Creek Road who comfortably sits out on his porch in his lazy boy recliner? Isn't that household furniture?

Section 6 provides for a $150 per day fine for anyone violating this ordinance. Plus you have to pay an undetermined administration fee. Who knows how much that will be. You do have a right to appeal to the same people issuing the fine, but you have to pay them a $100 fee to bring forth your appeal.

If you cannot pay the $150/day fine, unspecified admin fees, or the $100 to appeal, Section 10 states: "Where a person found to be in violation of this ordinance is determined to be financially unable to pay the fine imposed, the Commissioner shall levy a lien upon the affected property for the unpaid fine and fees."

If you have a mortgage on your property, its now in grave jeopardy and you could find yourself on the street!

Section 5 of the Litter Ordinance provides for the creation of Ordinance Enforcement Officers who are charged with patroling the county to "monitor compliance with the Ordinance by the citizens of the county". They will also answer calls from your neighbors and respond to their complaints. Guess how these Officers are paid? Yep, with money taken from you. I would bet that they will stay busy.

Section 5 empowers the Officer "to enter any premises upon which litter or rubbish exists...investigate any alleged violation of this Ordinance...or to issue notices and citations for any violation."

Section 6-2 provides that "...the Officer may enter upon any premises and remove and immediately dispose of all item constituting a nuisance..." Can you imagine being away from home for a month to care for your elderly parents. Your dad's unregistered Lincoln sits in your driveway, because he has been in the hospital for the past few months.
You come home to find the car gone, seized by the County!

No warrant needed. Remember that the people voted for this by referendum; thereby, waving their Constitutional Rights under the IV Amendment which requires Officers to obtain a warrant to enter your premises.

No trial needed. Remember that the people voted for this by referendum; thereby, waving their Constitutional Rights under the VI Amendment which states:"in all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence."

The larger question is: Where were our elected State Representatives who take an oath of office to support and defend the Alabama and US Constitution? Some whom are seeking the highest office in this State.

Article 1, Section 35 of the Alabama State Constitution states: “That the sole object and only legitimate end of government is to protect the citizen in the enjoyment of life, liberty, and property, and when the government assumes other functions it is usurpation and oppression.”

And you wonder why these people want to rewrite our State Constitution?

This law is clearly unconstitutional. Once someone comes up with $20,000 to bring a case before the Supreme Court, I believe they will rule accordingly.

Or we can get 10% of the registered voters to sign a petition to repeal this. Get involved and join the citizens who are selflessly fighting for your rights.

And this November, try electing someone who will look out for you and truly defend your rights!

Steven Kneussle
Steven@Kneussle.com

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://kneussle.blogspot.com/2010/06/limited-home-rule-why-its-bad.html' title='Limited Home Rule. This man truly worked to elevate the African American people into the seat of equality so that they could achieve a high standard of living.

Today I see the opposite happening. We have achieved equal rights; yet, the standard of living among African Americans has only improved slightly. Imprisoned in housing projects and dependent on government subsidies, the African American population has been used as a pawn in the political process.

Our prisons are 80% African Americans, yet I see no leader standing up to curb this atrocity. Many African American divorced fathers contact my various family rights groups seeking help to be involved in their children s lives. Many do not have the financial resources to obtain an attorney to secure their right of being a parent to their children.

I tried contacting the NAACP to enlist help to this cause. I spoke with the Greene County President. After a great beginning conversation, I was asked out of nowhere what my opinion of Obama was. I politely stated that I did not agree with his politics. She immediately responded that anyone who does not support Obama is a racist.

I could not believe this. I stated that I did not believe in Bush's, McCain's, or Palin's politics. She then stated that everyone in Alabama is a racist. I politely ended the conversation.

Is this what we have become? A nation divided upon racial lines? A nation where African Americans must support the same race politician?

There are many African Americans who are conservative. They do not support abortion, welfare, big government, removing prayer from government, or attacks on our constitution. Yet they are scared to step out of line, fearing being called an uncle Tom. This is absurd and must stop!

I hereby call upon all African Americans to join me in forming a new political steering committee within our community. Together we can effect real change and restore hope for our future.

Constituion lesson 1

Educate yourself and others on the Constitution. I feel that this is very discriminatory. Our current laws preclude discrimination based on age, sex, gender and religion.

Additionally, its unjust to abort a fetus before the world has had a chance to assess the finished product. There is no way to tell whether or not a great leader, scientist, doctor, or inventor is being prematurely killed. This has the potential of depriving the world of essential services, inventions, and ideas necessary for the general welfare and greater good of our society.

A new solution is needed to solve the highly charged abortion debate. Abortion can be conducted in a fair and just way in accordance with equality and the greater good of society. By waiting for the final product to mature, we can assess whether or not the being to be aborted is a burden on society, an unnecessary carbon dioxide emitter, and a detriment to the greater good of society.

I therefore propose legislation to allot each citizen three abortion vouchers per year. Whereas, vouchers are to be used only on persons whom have reach their 18th birthday.

This way when you are traveling to work and the idiot cuts in front of you without using a turn signal, you just call the 1-800 number on the voucher, provide the operator with the license plate number and brief description of the driver.

A helicopter with a vacuum powered shredder would then be dispatched. As the idiot exits his or her vehicle, the abortion unit will fly over, activate the device and SHLOOOOOOOP!

Instantly the person would be sucked up and shredded in a painless and humane manner. The scraps then would be disposed of in a environmentally friendly manner and the person using the voucher would receive carbon credits equivalent to the lifetime emissions of the idiot.

Now I just have to patent the new abortion device and get Ted Sexton to attach it to his helicopter.

Pro-choicers, please tell me if this would be acceptable to you.

BIBLE STUDY BANNED IN ARIZONA!!!

"The city of Gilbert, Ariz., has ordered a group of seven adults to stop gathering for Bible studies in a private home because such meetings are forbidden by the city's zoning codes."

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=127793

Think that it couldn't happen in Alabama? The Lord said to Samuel "for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them". God then told Samuel the behavior of the (oppressive) king who will reign over them due to their plea, "Give us a king to judge us." 1 Samuel 6-22.

The founders of our nation tried to reverse this by creating a representative Republic and establishing God as our King. This has been lost as our nation cries for a "king" to bring them hope, create jobs, save the environment, provide health care, distribute wealth, etc.

We can reclaim our local and State government by awakening the public to their role in a representative Republic.

Government Scare Tactics

No, I don't believe that the KGB is brainwashing us via Obama; however; I am tired of swine flu, bird flu, Spanish flu, Anthrax, 10 years of being on the 2nd highest terror alert level, acid rain, ozone, global warming etc.

All of these fears have been promoted by our government. I am reasonably confident that other like-minded individuals have uncovered this same truth. We have been able to publish our findings ahead of the rest. You may all use your own capable scientific minds in applying simple logic to confirm our results.

“ This is the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv) has one neuron, 25 assistant neurons, 85 deputy neurons, and 198 assistant deputy neurons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.

A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second to from four days to four years to complete. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2-6 years, it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neurons and deputy neurons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium’s mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neurons, forming isadopes.

This characteristic of moron promotion suggests that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass. When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administration, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons…….” Respectfully submitted: Dr. Greg Evensen, and DJ “Honeycutt” MD (Moron Detector)*

*(Unfortunately fictional, we borrowed liberally from a real genius we can’t identify.)

This light hearted statement has a great deal of truth as well as a straight on assessment of our crises. It shows through humor, how so many small elements, become a large almost overpowering conglomeration of components that overtake our ability to explain or reason our way out of a reality that should not have existed at all. In this simple example, we see how thousands of laws, court decisions, governmental actions, the creation of bureaucratic agencies, a malignant reliance on a world cabal to further every shred of government expansion and the creation of a dreaded fascist security/surveillance networks, have administered a lethal dose of deadly drugs into the American civil system of liberty and sovereignty.

Beginning with the first efforts to create a national banking system after the establishment of constitutional government in the 1790’s, we have never been outside the influence and political efforts to codify and protect a grotesque and completely unnecessary central banking system. This corrupted private bank has done more to destroy the Republic than any other event to confront our nation in all of its history. Coupled with the corporate “contract” created within the united states, Inc., and an admiralty based judicial system, America has been at war with its self on a continuing basis for 200 years. Utilizing post revolutionary on-going treaties that have controlled united states policies, law making, and the rejection of all things constitutional, American citizens have been told one thing, believed that standard and have operated with completely different rules when dealing with government. We have been captured by a few, abused by many and subject to all who occupy power at the state and federal level. The abdication of power by those who believed in a Republic was completed in stages.

Aiming small and missing small, those unmitigated traitors within the halls of congress have taken our liberty one law at a time. We lost the great war for freedom one lawsuit at a time, one court decision after another and one election cycle following the next. It is a strategy that has been executed with near flawless precision and every judge in the land is a conspirator at the highest level. The handful of honest judges, in several major cases, were immediately overturned by those who knew the end game. Those judges live and thrive among us with virtual impunity from their illegal and immoral decisions. They are re-elected, reappointed and given continuous reign by state and federal government cliques whose very existence as future regional American commissars depends on the internal protection of the system that has been sculpted to make all of the rest of the fascism live, breathe and breed.

This is the system that has allowed for socialism to become hard reality in 2010. It is the system that encouraged and then codified our removal of gold and silver from the monetary system. It allowed the creation of the Federal Reserve System. It moved the 16th and 17th amendments into our Bill of Rights. It has been the basis for the removal of a Godly system of ethics and laws from our government and the promotion of everything from pornography, abortion, same sex everything, protection of certain races and genders from competing on a level field of competition, and handed our very culture to foreign governments whose sole objective is to manipulate every facet of life within our own borders. The enemy of the American citizen is found in this culture of moral decay and those who have promoted it.

The money that has flowed into the personal accounts of tens of thousands of “elected representatives” is in the billions over the last century alone. It can be traced to sweetheart deals at all levels, bank charters, defense contracts, patent and trademark discoveries or thefts of intellectual property by lawyers and politicians who withheld the copyrights from those unable or unwilling to pay the extortion rate. It has killed inventors who could have and would have given us non-polluting energy systems, engine components that did not require oil or gasoline products, medicines meant to save and not kill in the war against cancer, diabetes, pandemics and even in the nutritional value of the food we eat. The list is virtually endless.

Why has this happened with such overpowering success? Simply because the people placed in the chambers of power succumbed to the luxury of money and influence. (View again the great 1939 Jimmy Stewart movie, “Mr. Smith goes to Washington”). The cycle of greed and evil goes to the beginning of civilization. How could we believe that the foreigner interloper, Illuminati/CFR star Barack “Barry Sotero” Obama was our “savior?” We were told that change was good and that change could only be given to us by this socialist stooge. Since we were told this was so, then it just had to be!!! No thinking for ourselves, no application of common sense, real history, or an honest look at who and what he was-had been-or might become, we chose Obama. If Adolf Hitler had been black, had no mustache, and worn a suit, he could have won the election using dumb ass American electorate standards of 2008.

And so, we are staring down the barrel of a loaded shotgun. This baby is a .10 gauge three and ½ inch magnum double barrel with the explosive equivalent of dynamite. The trigger is being pulled. What are the chances that you walk away with just a scratch? Yeah,…….you’re learning.

If a jury had been selected and had the opportunity to hear all of the facts concerning the real history of this nation and those who have cannibalized her from the inside out, the verdict would have been reached before the jury left the courtroom. Sentencing would have followed on the spot and every last one of these pompous, corrupt to the core, lying, thieving, perverted sons of whores would be swinging right now. That’s one hangin’ I would have paid to see.

If you understand what I have been saying here and have even the smallest interest in seeing your nation survive another year, then do two things and do them quickly.

First, do every thing in your soul’s power to investigate, promote, contribute to the effort if you can, and believe that we can elect good people to office at EVERY LEVEL IN YOUR STATE!! Have them sign contracts to do what they are told and by the Almighty, order them to do it by the Constitutional Oath they take to the United States of America and its people.

Secondly, convene grand juries in every county of the land with or without the “permission” of corrupted county officials. Elect sheriffs who will protect those proceedings and enforce their outcomes. Impeach those who won’t and for God’s sake RUN SOMEBODY WHO WILL DO IT!!

And while you are at those tasks, begin setting yourselves free from the chains of slavery made from your own pale hands. The sooner you begin, the sooner you will be free. Pay close attention, this is how you do it. Don’t wait for somebody else to give you permission or pay for it. DO IT YOURSELF AND FOR YOUR LOVED ONES. DO YOU WANT A FUTURE OF FREEDOM IN THIS COUNTRY OR DON’T YOU??? THEN BY GOD IN HEAVEN, G-E-T T-O W-O-R-K!!!

If you ever loved anyone, if you have ever claimed to love your country, if you have ever dreamed about doing something for someone so great that if you could achieve it you would be worthy of the Medal of Honor, then do this for yourself, your family, your community and your nation. If it costs you a little then you are only giving a little. This is one time where aim small, miss small, just won’t get it. Aim big and hit big! You must do it!

Child Protective Services

One of the greatest atrocities occurring in this state involves the Alabama DHR Child Protective Services. Several Tuscaloosa Residents have contacted me regarding their children being removed from the home and placed into tax payer funded foster care.

Independent experts in the field of psychology and social work were called in to review their cases. These experts stated that there was no reason for the children to be in foster care.

The psychological evaluation conducted on the parents proved that they were fit loving parents. Government representatives have been contacted to help these parents. So far these representatives have failed to return any inquiries on the matter.

Maybe they will have more time for these families when they get done campaigning. In the meantime, the children are adjusting poorly to foster care and are demanding to be reunited with their parent.

Outraged Parents Sue Wal-Mart, And Arizona for Taking Kids
By JAMIE ROSS
ShareThis

PHOENIX (CN) - A married couple who took photos of their daughters in the bathtub sued Wal-Mart, the Arizona Attorney General and the City of Peoria, claiming the state took away their girls and placed them in foster care, and police and an assistant attorney general defamed them to dozens of their friends by saying they had "sexually abused" the girls by taking the photos.
Plaintiffs Lisa and A.J. Demaree say they photographed their daughters in the bathtub while on a family trip to San Diego, then dropped off the camera's memory stick at a Wal-Mart in Peoria to have the photos developed. The girls were 5, 4, and 1½ at the time.
The Peoria Wal-Mart reported the photos to the Peoria Police Department, said Richard Treon, the family's attorney.
Of 150 photos on the memory stick, about seven showed the girls "with a towel around and in various portions of nudity," Treon said.
"The photo policy is a bit of a stretch when it is pictures of your kids," the attorney said.
Wal-Mart has an "unsuitable print policy" by which it decides "(without telling the customer that it had this policy) whether any photographs supplied by a customer on a computer 'memory stick' contained nudity of a minor of any kind and, if so, Wal-Mart would then decide whether to turn those photographs over to the police," according to the complaint in Maricopa County Court.
The Demarees sued Wal-Mart in one complaint, and sued Arizona, the Arizona Attorney General and the City of Peoria in a second complaint in the same court.
According to the complaint against the state, Wal-Mart reported the photos to the Peoria Police Department, then Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Hunter "published defamatory remarks to more than 35 family members and friends of plaintiffs, falsely stating that plaintiffs Lisa and A.J. Demaree 'sexually abused' their children."
A Peoria police detective named Krause "made false and defamatory statements to agents and employees of the defendants, medical providers, and others, including, but not limited to, accusations that plaintiffs had sexually abused their children, sexually exploited their children, took pornographic photos of their children, and/or that said parents were engaged in illegal actions by taking bath and play time photos of their children," according to the complaint against the state.
The state then took the children away from their parents to see if they had been sexually violated; the girls were separated and placed in foster care, Treon said.
"It's every parent's nightmare that the state would decide or have a better idea of how you should parent your children," Treon says. "You would think CPS [Child Protective Services] would have better things to do with their resources."
The Demarees want people to understand that if they take family photos to Wal-Mart, the store acts "as an agent of the police department by screening their photos," and turns clerks and managers into censors, Treon said.
The family seeks punitive damages for defamation and outrage

Duncanville VFD Firefighter Prayer Request

A Duncanville VFD firefighter was seriously injured in the line of duty on Wednesday February 3, 2010. Guest speakers include
politicians Robert Bentley and Stan Cooke.

Although this is not necessarily a Tea Party event, Mr. Poole has taken
it on himself to make this opportunity available to discuss the
problems our nation faces and some of the current proposals that
Americans are very concerned about. We witnessed a monumental event in
Massachusetts this week, as one of the most perceived liberal states
elected a conservative in a special election to fill the seat formerly
held by Senator Ted Kennedy. This is a huge message sent to the
Congress and White House. We have a chance to continue that discussion
and momentum next Monday.

Dr. Bentley is a physician and has great insight into the problems and
solutions needed for America's healthcare delivery system, as well as
being a small business owner who understand the problems many of us
face trying to compete not only in the free market but against the
myriad and complex regulations that hinder our economic success. Stan
Cooke is a very energetic, passionate speaker who is running for
Congress.

I encourage you to attend and show support for Mr. Poole's efforts and
share your concerns and ideas with fellow citizens and two men who may
well hold positions of leadership in our state and country. Call Mr.
Poole at 333.7001 for more info. I apply this to every issue for which I take a position on. The Constitutional Standard is unwavering and unaffected by emotional bias. Every representative takes an oath to uphold and defend our State and US Constitution. Therefore, they must ask the following questions to determine whether a proposed law meets the Constitutional Standard.

1. Does the governing body have the authority to pass such law or measure?

2. Does the law or measure protect the rights of the owner of property that may be affected?

3. Does the law or measure protect the rights of the individual without infringing on the rights of another?

4. Does the law or measure protect the individual in the enjoyment of life, liberty, and property?

5. Is the law or measure compliant with the US and State Constitution.

These five questions define the Constitutional Standard and are defined in our State Constitution, the US Constitution and in the writings of the founders of our nation.

Lets see how we can objectively apply this Standard to an emotionally charged issue such as abortion.

1. Does local, state or federal government have the authority to legalize abortion?
NO: Governments are instituted among Men to secure their rights, endowed by the Creator, which include the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

2. Would legalizing abortion protect the rights of the owner of the property affected? No The woman owns her egg, the man owns his seed. Once these two elements come together, a new life is conceived. This new life is the owner of its own being. The man and woman are charged by the Law of Nature to nurture and protect this being until it can fend for itself.

3. Does legalizing abortion protect the rights of the individual without infringing on the rights of another? NO: The new being, despite how conceived, has the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. The mother does not "own" this being. This is a well accepted policy. Think about a newborn that is neglected by a mother addicted to illicit drugs. The State has the authority to remove that baby from the mother's custody. Why? Because the mother does not own that baby.

4. Does legalizing abortion protect the individual in the enjoyment of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness? NO

5. Would legalizing abortion be compliant with State and US Constitutions? NO: Such law would be in direct violation of the purpose of government as established by our State and US Constitution.

Try applying the Constitutional Standard to any issue. You will find that it provides an objective and analytical approach to many "controversial" issues. Feel free to e-mail me your conclusions.

Let's try one more issue, gun control.

1. Does the local, state, or federal government have the authority to legislate gun control? NO: The Second Amendment to the US Constitution states, "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". Even the requirement of a pistol license is a clear violation of the Second Amendment. Now, if someone has proven to be irresponsible, such as being convicted of armed robbery, that person has obviously forfeited their right.

2. Does gun control protect the rights of the owner of the property? NO: The person owning the weapon has the right to that weapon.

3. Does gun control protect the rights of the individual without infringing on the rights of others? NO: Every person has the right to bear arms in defense of oneself, family, and property.

4. Does gun control protect the individual in the enjoyment of Life, Liberty and Property? NO: It deprives the individual from protecting these rights.

5. Is gun control in any form compliant with our State and US Constitution? NO: It violates the Second Amendment of the US Constitution and Section 26 of the Alabama State Constitution.

The Constitutional Standard should be applied to every measure introduced by our government. Lobbyists are trained to play on our emotions to persuade our opinion. This often leads to misinformation and a lack of intelligent debate. Our State and US Constitution provide a solid foundation for our government. Do not believe those whom say that these are living documents to be change based upon the passing whim of public sentiment. This is far from the truth. The authors of these documents debated each line and wrote numerous papers and notes regarding their creation. Little has been left to interpretation. Designing men and women with self interests will continue to play at our emotions and distract us from important issues. It is up to US to pay attention and ensure that our voice is heard.

Residents of Tuscaloosa BEWARE!!!

Don't worry... if you forget to mow your lawn, your neighbor will soon be able to report you. A code enforcement officer will come over and search your premise. After all, since you failed to mow your lawn, you just might be a violent person in the making! Better search your house just to make sure you don't have any bodies in the closet. You don't have anything to hide, do you? Its for the greater good of all us. Your neighbors will feel safer. This would also be a good tool to search for terrorists. You're not a terrorist are you? Good, you have nothing to hide, and you won't mind an officer searching your property just to make sure.

The video below was created by Don Casey of the Alabama Alliance for Citizen Rights. This is a government watchdog group who is feverishly waving a warning flag to all of us! WE MUST ACT NOW!

Is this the kind of world that you want for your children and future generations? Citizen against citizen, reporting one another for "code violations". We have seen this game played by the Alabama Department of Human Resources and city/county permit departments. It costs, you the tax payer, millions of dollars which goes to expand these departments so they can handle more citizen against citizen reports.

We the people of Alabama, residents of Tuscaloosa County desperately need someone who will fight for our liberty!

Representatives from both parties have failed us. Our Representatives have failed to educate, we the people, on the legislation, policies, and agendas for which they have imposed upon us.

Our rights to property are being systematically taken from us. Disguised with the title of "Self-Governance Act", Tuscaloosa County Commissioners are creating a "Junk Ordinance" which allows enforcement officers to search your property without a warrant and issue stiff fines for unregistered vehicles, weeds, furniture and whatever the officer considers to be rubbish.

Disguised as "Flood Abatement Ordinance", Tuscaloosa citizens living near the Black Warrior River are prohibited from improving their own property with renovations, remodeling or new construction. Doing so can lead to fines and or imprisonment. Yet, failing to improve their property will subject them to fines under the County Commissioners "Junk Ordinance". The area effected is classified as a "floodway" and has been expanded to include neighborhoods that haven't seen a flood in over 100 years.

What does liberty mean to you? Ask the people who have been victimized by these same ordinances.

ITS TIME TO PROVIDE NEW GUARDS FOR OUR FUTURE!!!! A sweet story comes to mind. A little white girl and a little black boy were playing on the school playground, on base. The two children sat on the ground holding hands while making shapes in the dirt. The little white girl looked at the boy and said, "Martin Luther King's dream did come true!".

Today, 50 years later, the black Americans are in a worse position than they have been in since that time. They have been enslaved by a corrupt and unjust welfare system. They have been imprisoned in government housing projects saturated with illicit drugs. Where are the black leaders of today? What are they doing for the African Americans of today?

A leader emerges, bringing forth hope to our country. The Democrats gladly hand out more money, giving away free health care and expanding the welfare system in order to pander to minority voters. How does this help our people and country? The goal should be to lift people out of poverty, not enslave them by it. I believe in helping those who have fallen on unfortunate times. The goal should be to gain independence and prosperity. By spending money on education and work training we can rise above oppression.

MLK would be very unhappy with the current state of affairs. I call upon the black community to break away from these chains and stand beside liberty! Follow the path a truly great leader.

"An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere" --- Martin Luther King

Why is OUR President, who is paid by OUR tax dollars, actively campaigning for a candidate in a crucial election? Is this what you have paid him to do? What is the role of OUR President? Is it to promote constitutional principles of fair elections? Or is it to use the power of office to influence the votes? This is in outstanding group of citizens committed to providing public oversight of our government. There were about 35 people in attendance. Our elected officials and 2010 candidates have a lot to learn from this group.

Most of the meeting focused on the Self-Governance Act, Alabama Constitution rewrite, and Sustainable Development. Discussion and facts were presented to show how all of this is going to effect our individual rights to property and liberty.

The Self-Governance Act is a state law which gives County governments the authority to create and enforce Junk Ordinances. This authority allows for private property owners to be fined for weeds, unregistered vehicles, outside furniture and whatever the county defines as rubbish. Tuscaloosa County Commissioners are going to vote on this within the next two months. A copy of the Mobile County Process and Procedure Ordinance was distributed as an example of how this is being implemented throughout the State.

Section 2(c)(2) states: "Should the County Commission and the Sheriff of Mobile County enter into agreement whereby the sheriff and/or his deputies shall assist in the enforcement of Mobile county Ordinances, the sheriff and his deputies shall have all authority granted enforcement officers hereunder, which shall be in addition to such authority otherwise granted such officers by law"

Section 5(b) states: "For the purpose of discharging the duties imposed by Mobile County Ordinances and to enforce their provisions, enforcement officers are empowered to enter upon any private premises upon which a violation of such Ordinances may exist".

WOW!!!!! What happened to the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures without a warrant (II Amendment US Constitution)? What happened to the Objective of government being "to protect the citizen in the enjoyment of life, liberty, and property, and when the government assumes other functions it is usurpation and oppression" (Section 35, Alabama Constitution) .

Our elected officials have taken an oath of office to support and defend the US Constitution and the Alabama Constitution. How can they impose this upon their citizens? I feel it is because they have lost their way. They have forgotten who they work for. They have failed to study the principles of the US and AL Constitutions.

How is the proposed Alabama Constitution Rewrite going to affect our rights? Who is behind the Rewrite?
